Yuck!

What's 1 thing you think is worth spending money on? What's 1 thing you always cheap out on?

Hmm, I will spend money on shoes. I don't buy shoes from Payless or anything like that anymore, my poor feet can't tolerate it. Brand name only etc.

The things I cheap out on are easier to list! I cheap out on haircuts (much to my sisters disgust) clothes, makeup etc. :-)

Cuddle Blanket!!

OHMYWORD! Kt, I've got your blanket beat all to pieces! Josh got his order of gifts from the Chesapeake store in last night. One of them was a blanket for me. It's chocolate brown. 1 side is the softest fur you just want to purrrrrrrrrr over it and the other side feels like that really soft material they use on baby stuffed animals. Holy cow it is unreal how awesome it is. It's just throw size or I swear I'd be sleeping in the thing!

Quite a few, mostly husband oriented, but some baking ones too. Dump-cake comes to mind.

2. Of the people you know, who has the best style?
Ha - that would be Kt. She has been my style consultant since she was old enough to tell me I looked terrible in what I had on.

3. If you could be any book character who would it be?
The girl out of "The Little White Horse" or someone out of the HP books probably. :-) I'd love to fly on a broom or clean house w/ a wave of a wand!

4. What one habit would you never ever give up?
Mmmm, the cat fascination or the reading too much. Take your pick.

5. How cold is "cold" for you?
My feet are always cold but 70 is cold. Thank heaven for heated throws and electric blankets!

Last weekend I was talking to mom on the phone. She said that Dad intended to paint the kitchen this week. I said "mmhmm. And he is going to put the paint up high, right?? Otherwise there will be little green paw prints alllllllllllllll over the floor!" Mom assured me that yes, the cats were going to be out in the garage while the painting commenced.

I just got an email. 1 paw got in the paint. (Dad emailed Mom.) Mom said "Oooh, her mommy will be maaaaaaaaad!" Dad said, "Not as mad as I was!"
So then he had to wash her little foot.

I told them so.

*snicker*

You know you're in the North when:
After Cars and Trucks in the classifieds....comes a section for Snowmobiles.....

I am up at 5am this morning. My brain decided to start trying to do the Kempo workout from last night again which is not conducive to sleep. (This means my brain was saying "jab, hook, uppercut. Again! Jab, hook, uppercut. AGAIN!") Tensing all my muscles. Husband was up for work so I figured I'd get up and clean kitchen etc and take a nap later :-).

My mom loves me! I got a box! My king-size cuddle blanket - so husband and I don't have to fight over the one blanket in the living room anymore, another pair of slippers, the soup packets I got for Christmas, my straightening iron and our large drinking glasses. YAY!!!!!!!! SO EXCITED!!! :-) Thanks Mom!!!!!!!!!

Husband and I bought the P90X workout system yesterday (should arrive later this week in the mail.) So expect the whining about sore muscles and such to start soon. :-)

This is a Nerf Gun from Pa for Orion - but my Turtle was still the favorite! :-)

Yes I know I'm late doing these pictures. I forgot I had them till the other day. This is the giant stuffed turtle that husband and I got in Myrtle Beach last summer for Orion. He's been hiding in my closet ever since and I couldn't WAIT to see Orion open it!

Obviously it was a big hit. He didn't let go of it thru the rest of the present opening. He just held it and petted it and showed how soft he was to everyone else. His head was smaller than the turtles! It was the nicest thing and I loved it!!!

Huge glass boat on a glass table. This thing was as big as I am!!

The inside picture is just an echo that is etched inside the glass.

Same with this. Its a solid block with dozens of etchings etc all inside. You could stand there and look from all angles etc and see different things. Incredible!

This was a full size dress! The caption said the only place to cast glass this large is in Czechoslovakia!

New Pictures!

Here is the new truck husband is driving! Chevy Silverado 2500, only 1700 miles, more room than either of our other cars etc!

These are a few pics from our visit to the Corning Museum of Glass on New Year's Eve. Someone had this whole collection and then donated it. Which begs the question, how do you LIVE in a house with this much glass around you? You can sneeze, you can't stumble. You CERTAINLY can't be as graceless as I am or have any pets or children or company!
